Aims and Scope

Kazakh International Journal of Geography and Environment (KIJGE) - publishes new articles with the results of fundamental and applied research on current issues in geography and the environment. The aim of KIJGE is to become a platform for discussing topical international issues in the field of geography and the environment. To achieve this goal, KIJGE journal sets itself the following main objectives:

- publication and dissemination of fundamental and applied scientific research addressing current international issues in the field of geography and the environment;

- creating a platform for scientific exchange between scientists and experts from around the world and promoting international scientific cooperation;

- promoting innovative scientific ideas in the fields of geography, ecology, tourism, natural resource, sustainable development and environmental protection;

- promoting multidisciplinary scientific research and strengthening links between geography and environment, tourism, economics, social sciences, digital technologies, and sustainable development.

- creating a transparent and accessible environment for discussing the results of scientific research conducted by young scientists.

KIJGE’s scope of interest covers a wide range of topics and brings together core and related fields of geography and ecology. KIJGE publishes articles in the following sections:

- Physical Geography and Earth System Sciences (Geomorphology, climatology, meteorology, hydrology, hydrogeology, glaciology, biogeography, soil geography, landscape geography, environmental geography, paleogeography, natural hazard studies);
